Welcome to the Chatham Retired Educators Association
The Chatham Retired Educators Association (CREA) is a local unit of the Georgia Retired Educators Association established in 1958. CREA was established in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia in 1971. "Fellowship..Support..Service" is our motto. Members of CREA/GREA are afforded the opportunity to benefits such as lower rates on dental and vision insurance, long-term care insurance, and travel opportunities to name a few. GREA President's Project for 2023-2024 - Totes to Tots
President Joe Boland's project for the 2023-2024 year is Totes to Tots. To support the president's project, the Chatham Retired Educators Association hopes to participate in various activities around the County. Totes to Tots began as a project in Georgia when some folks saw a need to take better care of our foster children. Our GREA goal is to raise $35,500 for this cause. 2. The inside polygon has 18 sides representing the 18 Areas.
3. The lamp and the date GREA was established were carried over from the previous logo.
4. Retired Educators Association is at the bottom to explain what organization this is. Georgia is
at the top to identify which REA this is. Georgia is at the top to identify which REA this is.
5. The name of the font used for lettering is Georgia.
6. Every county in Georgia is shown to emphasize that GREA works for every teacher in every county
